Why We Built This Site
Colorado records access is spread across systems rather than collected in one county database. Chaffee Sheriff keeps its incident and detention material. Chaffee Combined Court maintains state charges and dispositions, while the municipal courts keep their own matters. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation maintains statewide criminal history, and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry serves a different public-safety purpose. We organize verified contacts, official searches, fees, and request steps around those separate roles.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Its role has firm limits:

- We do not certify court documents, rap sheets, or criminal records
- We cannot advise anyone about a charge, warrant, or case
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed its hours, fees, address, or procedure
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as Chaffee Sheriff, the appropriate court, or the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
